Animal Trapping Demonstration
Mike Sievering and Keith McCutcheon retired wildlife biologists from the Alabama Department of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries and ATPCA members set up a trapping booth to educate the public about trapping at Bucks Pocket State Park in north Alabama on May 30, 2015. They showcased animal furs & skulls as well discussed the historical aspects of trapping, biological information concerning furbearers and furbearer management relating to all fur-bearing animals in Alabama. Approximately 200 people attended the event.
